Information We Collect

When you book a session, create an account, or reach out through the contact form, we collect:

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Booking history and session notes shared during coaching
• Messages exchanged between you and Barb through the client portal
• Account credentials (your email address and a hashed password if you set one)
• Device tokens for push notifications if you use the iOS or Android app and opt in

We don't collect anything we don't need. We don't buy, sell, or trade your personal information.

How We Use Your Information

• To schedule and confirm your coaching sessions
• To send you booking confirmations, reminders, and updates by email
• To process payments securely through Helcim
• To send push notifications through the mobile app (only if you enable them)
• To respond to your messages and support your coaching journey

We will never use your information for advertising or share it with third parties for their marketing.

Data Retention

We keep your information as long as your account is active. If you'd like your data deleted, just email barb@belovedareyou.com and we'll remove it within 30 days. Some payment records may be retained longer as required by law.

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted services to run this website. Each one has its own privacy policy:

• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DNS. Handles all web traffic. Privacy policy
• Resend — transactional email (booking confirmations, magic links). Privacy policy
• Helcim — payment processing. Card details go directly to Helcim; we never see or store them. Privacy policy
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — iOS app push notifications. Privacy policy
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — Android app push notifications. Privacy policy

Cookies

This website does not use cookies. No tracking, no analytics cookies, no advertising pixels. The client portal uses a short-lived authentication token stored in your browser's memory for your session, which is cleared when you sign out or close the tab.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correct — ask us to update any inaccurate information
• Delete — request that your account and data be removed
• Opt out — unsubscribe from emails or disable push notifications at any time

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We follow industry-standard practices for protecting your information, but no system is perfectly secure. If you have concerns, reach out and we'll address them promptly.

Children's Privacy

This service is not intended for anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we'll delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. For major changes, we'll notify active clients by email. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
